Hi, my name is Joe Novella (that's me with my
partner Fiona in Cairns recently).
I am a published author, with a love of writing and
interested in all forms of the arts and I love all
things Internet.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from
Monash University (formerly Chisholm Institute of
Technology) in Melbourne.
My other passions include soccer (I'm still playing at
the ripe old age of 43 despite my bodies
protestations), anything to do with the sea and
learning about people I meet and their lives.
About Words and Webs
I started producing websites for friends about 5 or so years ago. In between writing books, I was also asked to contribute articles for newspapers, magazines, blogs and other websites. Corporations began to ask me to write their letters and prepare copy for their flyers and other advertising material.
Over time, through word of mouth, I kept getting requests for more websites and more content and so finally I bit the bullet and realised that a writer does need a day job and Words and Webs was formed in 2009.
Why has Words and Webs been successful? Because in the internet world where everything is confusing and not as it appears, I'm honest and care about my clients. I deliver on what I say. Nearly all the work I get is through word of mouth and referrals which says a lot about my customer service.
